What do a 16th-century soldier, a 19th-century university student, and a 21st-century paramedic have in common?

All three have just been recruited as agents of a secret government organization staffed by time-travelers from across history. The objective of the Ministry of Time is to keep history exactly the way it is. When rogue time-travelers from the era of Napoleon are let loose in 2015, the Ministry's new recruits-- Alonso, Amelia, and Julián-- are sent to find them and prevent them from changing history for the worse. But each new agent must ask themselves: is this timeline really the best there could ever be?

Based on the spectacular Spanish TV series El Ministerio Del Tiempo, what follows is a novelization of the series' pilot episode. It is completely unofficial and unauthorized-- no one is asking me to do this, and I get no financial compensation whatsoever. All I want is to bridge the gap between this amazing story and the English-speaking reader. And also, to have fun pretending I'm writing a novel.
